Tucker Harvey, native of Nantucket, is the chef/owner of The SeaGrille and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, class of ’07. Tucker has worked in Maui under Peter Merriman where the lure of big waves was a powerful incentive for this chef, who loves to surf when he’s not in the kitchen. Several years of cooking in Charleston, S.C. under Frank McMahon followed, exposing him to the flavors of Low Country cooking, which he incorporates in some of the specialties he currently serves at the SeaGrille. Since its opening, the SeaGrille has earned a reputation as one of the island’s finest restaurants, consistently offering outstanding cuisine and warm hospitality.
